About Us

Godwins Solicitors was created by its founder W. H. Godwin following his decision to leave Morris, Bates & Godwin, and create his own niche practice. The business opened in 1995 and at that the time practiced from 31 Portland Street, Aberystwyth. The practice was acquired by Mr Simon Margrave-Jones in 2000 when Mr W. H. Godwin was appointed to a judicial post.

In view of the increasing demands on the business and for client convenience, the practice moved to new offices at 56 Portland Street in September 2011. The offices afford ground floor accommodation including conference facilities and private consulting rooms.
